Happy Thanksgiving!
Getting ready for Thanksgiving dinner and the start of the holiday season? Try out this simple tea recipe as an after dinner drink.
This tea is great for any kind of stomach upset, hangover or food stagnation – aka the food coma after a huge meal. So, it’s an especially great drink for this time of year!

INGREDIENTS
1-2 cups water
2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped coarsely (or 1 mint tea bag)
1 (1/2 inch) piece fresh ginger, minced
1 teaspoon dried or fresh tangerine, orange or lemon peel
Honey (optional)
DIRECTIONS
In a small pot, boil the water. Add the mint, ginger and citrus peel to the hot water. Lower the heat to simmer for about 3 minutes. Turn off the heat and let the tea brew for another 3 minutes. Remove the herbs by pouring the mixer through a strainer, add honey to taste and serve.
